StandardAI can't even get up to castle age while I can get to imperial by 1 hour. Some of the players (I like to play 2 v 3) don't even have basic military buildings let alone stage an army. At one point I was like post imperial and two of the players were still at feudal without any military buildings.

The difficulty level is usually regular, sometimes moderate, but I cut the number of opponents the harder the game setting. I like long, slow games with a big mug of hot, black coffee. Heaven.
Thereneeds to be a difficulty in between Moderate and Hard or maybe make it to where on Moderate the AI actually attacks slightly more often, but obviously not with
